Father God in Heaven, You are perfect in all Your ways. I pray for all Christians and their families across the world. Please unite us in Christ regardless of politics, skin color, nationality, or social class. Have mercy on us, forgive us, and bless us with obedience to You. Keep us in Your will, guide us according to Your purposes alone, and protect us. Please save as many lost souls as possible. Stop every spiritual enemy and every attack against Your people. Have mercy on my community, protect it, and draw its people closer to You. Father God in Heaven, You are perfect in all Your ways. I pray for all Christians and their families across the world. Flood us with Your mercy always and protect us always from all harm. Keep us in Your will alone always and bless us with complete obedience to You. I currently stand at a crossroads. Lord, please keep me in Your will not my own and not anyone else’s. By Your gentle grace and mercy alone, remove from my life anyone who should not be in it, and bring me wherever You want me to be. Keep me in Your will and bless me with obedience in this situation. I also pray for a good job that I love with good pay so that I can take care of my family well, and pay back my debts. I pray and ask to be financially blessed however to use my money in a way that pleases You and is good to others, however I also pray that I can enjoy it. Please, at any cost, bless my community with salvation and obedience to You. Please keep them; and may they be a light in this world. I pray that we be, have, do, think, want, say, and believe everything You want us to be, have, do, think, want, say, and believe nothing less and nothing more. I ask all of this in the perfect name of Jesus Christ, for Your glory, Your will, Your purposes alone, and for any reason You deem worthy. Amen. Lord, I need You, and my family needs You too. One of the most meaningful ways our church partners, like you all at Lake Merched can stand with Mercy Ships is through prayer. Your faithful prayers strengthen and encourage our crew, staff, volunteers, patients, and partners around the world as together we bring hope and healing in Jesus’ name. We are so grateful to have you alongside us in this mission. This September, we invite you and your church family to join us in praying for: 1. Preparing for Togo: Work has begun on a new HOPE Centre in Togo, which will support patients and families during a future field service before becoming a medical simulation center. Please pray for the construction work and for everyone involved in getting the Hope Center ready. 2. Surgeries in Madagascar: Please pray for patients undergoing complex surgeries on board the Africa Mercy. Pray for their safety and recovery and for wisdom for the surgeons, anesthesia providers and nurses caring for them throughout their treatment. 3. Looking ahead in Sierra Leone, Mercy Ships is working alongside Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Health to plan the next ten years of our partnership. Please pray for wisdom for everyone involved as plans are developed, and that this long-term partnership will help strengthen surgical care across Sierra Leone.
